Two clubs, two grounds and, since 1985-86, every Scottish league title between them: Glasgow is shaped by football like few cities in Europe. This guide lists the 26 home fixtures still to come at Celtic Park and Ibrox in 2026-27 – 14 for Celtic and 12 for Rangers – from Saturday 24 October 2026 to Saturday 10 April 2027, with the status of each date and a free alert when a sale opens or a kick-off is fixed. One point before you plan anything: the Scottish Premiership only publishes its first 33 rounds, so the games played after the split in spring 2027 will be added once the SPFL releases them.
Glasgow football tickets in 2026-27: where Celtic and Rangers stand
Celtic Park: Glasgow football tickets for the reigning champions
Celtic won the 2025-26 Premiership, their 56th league title, and the Scottish Cup, their 43rd, in a season that went through Brendan Rodgers, Wilfried Nancy and two spells of Martin O’Neill, who has been manager since 5 January 2026. Callum McGregor is still captain, but the squad has changed: Kasper Schmeichel retired, Daizen Maeda left for Ipswich Town, Arne Engels for West Ham United and Reo Hatate for Burnley, while Camilo Durán arrived from Qarabağ, Kasper Høgh from Bodø/Glimt and Haissem Hassan from Real Oviedo. Celtic were top after seven league games with 18 points, but went out of the Champions League play-off to LASK, 5-4 on aggregate after extra time, so Parkhead hosts Europa League football instead: Celtic v Beşiktaş (5 November); Celtic v Marseille (21 January).
Ibrox: Glasgow football tickets for a rebuilt Rangers
Rangers finished third in 2025-26 without a trophy and changed manager again in the summer: Derek McInnes arrived from Heart of Midlothian on 17 June 2026 after Danny Röhl left for Red Bull Salzburg. Lawrence Shankland, signed on a free from Hearts, is the new captain, and the club paid for Kevin Kelsy (£9m from Portland Timbers), Kim Min-su (£8.5m from Girona) and Ivor Pandur (£6m from Hull City); James Tavernier left for Maccabi Tel Aviv at the end of his contract. Europe went wrong – out against Jagiellonia Białystok, then Jablonec on penalties – so there is no European night at Ibrox this season. At home it has gone better: second after seven games with 16 points, a 3-0 League Cup win over Celtic and a League Cup semi-final against Aberdeen at Hampden Park.
Why Glasgow football tickets follow the Scottish calendar
33 rounds, then the split: Glasgow football tickets you cannot plan yet
The Premiership has 12 clubs. After 33 rounds the table splits into two groups of six for five more games each, and those fixtures are only drawn up once the 33rd round is played. Each club will probably get at least two more home games in spring 2027. The same applies to the Scottish Cup, which Celtic and Rangers enter in the fourth round in January 2027, and to any Europa League knockout tie at Celtic Park: all will appear here once the draw or the qualification is confirmed.
Sunday moves and TV picks for Glasgow football tickets
European Thursdays push Celtic’s league games back to Sunday. Hearts at Celtic Park moved to weekend of 12 February to 15 February 2027, day to be confirmed, Kilmarnock to Sunday 8 November 2026, Hibernian to Sunday 13 December 2026 and Falkirk to Sunday 31 January 2027. TV picks can move other games too, and Rangers v Aberdeen was pushed to a Tuesday night, Tuesday 24 November 2026, because of the League Cup semi-final.
Face-value Glasgow football tickets: how each club sells
Celtic: Glasgow football tickets through a Digital Account
Celtic sells through its e-ticketing service, reached from celticfc.com, and through the ticket office at the stadium. Buying online requires a Celtic FC Digital Account, and season tickets are sold directly by the club and are non-transferable. The club is clear: the tickets it honours are those bought through its own e-ticketing, ticket office and listed partners.
Rangers: Glasgow football tickets with MyGers and Seatsub
Rangers sells on tickets.rangers.co.uk, its official ticketing site. The 2026-27 membership scheme is called MyGers, and season-ticket holders who cannot attend can release their seat through Seatsub, the resale link on the same site – the club-run way to pick up a seat that a regular has given up for the day. Entry is by mobile e-ticket or season-ticket smartcard.
Which Glasgow football tickets are the realistic targets
The Old Firm, Celtic’s European nights and the festive fixtures are in a league of their own. For a first visit, look instead at the midweek games – Celtic v Dundee United on Wednesday 28 October 2026, Rangers v Dundee United around weekend of 1 December to 3 December 2026, day to be confirmed and Rangers v Dundee on Wednesday 30 December 2026 – and at the visits of St Johnstone, promoted as Championship winners, and Falkirk.
Glasgow football tickets and resale law in Scotland
On ticket touting, Scots law is not English law. The offence in section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994, used against touts in England, extends to England and Wales only, and Scotland has no general statutory offence for reselling a football ticket. Other rules still apply: under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, anyone reselling through a secondary platform must state the seat or area, any restriction and the face value; selling in the street can require a street trader’s licence under the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982; and each club’s ticket conditions decide whether a resold ticket gets you through the turnstile. The safe order never changes: the club’s own sale first; official return schemes second.
